Little Legs O.T mission
At Little Legs Outback Occupational Therapy, our mission is to increase independence in meaningful, everyday activities by utilising evidence-based strategies to live a healthy, supported lifestyle.
More than anything we want our families to feel heard, seen and understood, with a choice in services and access to affordable Occupational Therapy that may not be achievable due to time, finances or sheer distance.
We can’t wait to fast-track your child’s independence.
How Little Legs Occupational Therapy came to be
Hi, I’m Lizzie!
Your resident Occupational Therapist based in Longreach, outback Queensland and founder of Little Legs O.T.
Little Legs Occupational Therapy has not always been an outback practice. It was founded in Geelong, Victoria - my hometown. However, with a love of country people, music and way of life, I found myself hopping, skipping and jumping all the way to Longreach - and I’ve never looked back.
Little Legs Outback Occupational Therapy is different from other early intervention practices in that we focus purely on Neurodiversity and travel all over central west Queensland to ensure families receive the therapeutic support in their homes and communities when they need it.
Helping families with ASD, ADHD, and Anxiety to retrain the brain and build on parents' knowledge has been an incredibly empowering opportunity to bring to Central Western Queensland and now, online to families all over Australia!
I am beyond excited to offer affordable, supported health solutions to rural, remote and regional Australian families.
So looking forward to connecting!
Lizzie Kearney

The Little Legs Occupational Therapy Vision
We can clearly see that getting funding and support for neurodiversity is not nearly as easy to access in the bush as it is in the city - and that’s something we want to change.
At Little Legs Outback Occupational Therapy, we do our absolute best to help families receive reasonable and necessary NDIS funding, or, if ineligible, access affordable Occupational Therapy without jumping through a bunch of hoops.
Managing neurodiversity isn’t a want, but a need.
We fondly celebrate our community and say goodbye to any negative stigmas associated with neurodiversity.
Be a part of a supportive community that welcomes connection, time freedom and understanding.
